Dinner out with boyfriends’ parents, sister and one set (the nice set) of grandparents at a nice restaurant – dressed up. I started not feeling well. His sister (9 years younger than us, so around 11 at that time) was looking at the charms on my charm bracelet and at the same time I started not to feel well, I tried to get up and go to the ladies room, but she would not let go. I got sick – across the table.

In Japan, burping is a compliment. It says you enjoyed the meal.
