hard no. time for the kids to learn that not all warm furry creatures make good pets.
I had a field mouse that became a very good pet. It would sit in my hand or on my shoulder.
Filthy, flea-ridden, thieving, destructive little …
and the percolating dozen mouselets she’s carrying…..
This is why more people would want to be Grandparents, if they could skip over being Parents.
It does give us Grandparents a thrill to dote on our grandchildren with things that we would never have allowed when we were just the parents. It’s a long lived right of passage and as they say “revenge is best served cold.”
That was a sneaky, underhanded thing to do.
Grandparents need to tough up and dispose of the rodent.
