The glass is always full unless you are in a vacuum.

I’ve gone past this, when my beer mug is half full, it’s time order more.

A glass is always full. Be it with a liquid or a gas. I drove my teachers bonkers making that observation when it was my turn to decide. Teacher wanted to see who fell into what category. I was a category unto myself. Always have been, always will be.

He’s still a kid, Ben. Even though he should know that already.
