No spidey snacks while sleeping

I had to spend two weeks flat on my back for sciatica. First thing I did when I was allowed to get up was paint the ceiling!

I have a reclining chair – had another one before. This one fits in with in our colonial revival living room – old one was big den type chair. Old one reclined with a handle. This one I need to push open with my feet on the floor – but my feet do not reach the floor when I sit in it so not easy to do.

Mostly I used the older one when I was expecting a deliveryman or repairman as I am not a morning person. I would wake early, dress for the day and go downstairs and sleep in the chair until the expected person arrived or it was time for me to wake (whichever was earlier).
