I’m leaving it up to my kids to get rid of my many “treasures.” I’m sure they won’t mean much to them. Who knows, they might be worth money by the time I’m gone. :P

HA!! Good move, Ben! Some things are too nostalgic to get rid of.

When my boys were young, I found some of my old Sci-Fi models made from Airfix kits in the loft. It seemed silly to just have them stuck up there in a box doing nothing, so I’d bring down two of them each week for the boys to play with. They loved pretending to fly them around the house and in the garden – especially the more elaborate ones like the star-ship Enterprise or the X-wing. Needless to say, they didn’t last long each time, but they had great fun before they got wrecked.

I’m with Ben on this one. I still have the Brooks Robinson autographed Rawlings glove I got when I was 13 in 1968. It will not be sold as long as I’m alive.

After 30 years my wife got rid of a trophy I got for a hole in one on a par three hole. Now that upset me a little. :(

In my lifetime, almost 75 years, I’ve never had a garage sale. When I had stuff to get rid of, I put it all in the Goodwill container.
