Yesterday, I saw a house a block away putting up lots of Xmas decorations. It was a warm day, so I figured they wanted to beat the Chicago winter. But he laughed and said he had a lot of houses to do and had to get started early — these neighbors had hired professional Christmas decorators!

I live in Miami and there are still homes with the storm shutters on it from Hurricane Matthew almost 2 months ago! sigh

It.. is a lot easier to put up lights when it is warm on a nice day than pick a day where it is snowing and -10. I just don’t turn them on…

he should have left the halloween decorations, and say it was for the next year. If the pumpkin becomes rotten, that would help to the ambiance
