Guess it would not be nice to enter a store and ask for a paint of liver.Purple is the mix between red and blue; if you work with rgb values you may think about same ratio between red and blue, and zero green. Indigo is the same mix, but more blue than red, and magenta, which is not the same as pink, is more red than blue. I like all three colors, but I am more biased towards blue; indigo is my favorite color. There are some interesting colors besides of yellow, blue and red (and black and white), but I admit is kind of silly to hear some names when people don’t agree what they mean
