I had to go to a business meeting in NYC in the theater district about 20 years ago and I remember an elevator like this! Yikes!
Lucky to have an elevator.. lots don’t.

Hotel room in NYC…150sf! intimate yes, cosy? Not in the morning when you have to use the loo and your partner’s head is 2 feet away from the toilet.
