Don’t be ashamed Bub. I’m scared of blonde penguins, too.

Never be afraid of what you think. When I first started dating my future wife, she asked me if I thought this woman walking towards us was cute.

I said, “Oh, heck yeah, I’d jump over your corpse to get to her!”

My wife got my sense of humor, and she never asked me those dumb leading questions ever again. We’ve been married 33 years last month.

It’s odd that they even have to have this conversation… I mean, I’ve never had to assure my wife that I wouldn’t push her in a pool. It just goes without saying, right? Our relationship isn’t an outlier, is it?

There’s nothing funny in pushing someone fully clothed into a swimming pool. But there’s plenty of other jokes that are quite acceptable. You just have to practice your hush puppy look, you might even add distress yipping. It works on my husband who has his own back of tricks.

How about we go with “don’t rub the cat the wrong way”.
