On the one hand, my computer has no camera or mic, on the other, there isn’t anyone I care to call. My wife has a couple friends she face-times with occasionally.
It’s not as easy as some would have it. And.. once you get one program working either the other party uses a different program or.. for absolutely no reason.. what worked yesterday wont today.
This is why I got so annoyed with the media cheerfully saying “Oh, get together on-line.” Like this would ever be a good substitute for getting together in person. We did get together on-line. Travel was out of the question and were glad we could do at least that. AND I am a Grandma and kicked it off ! But I also have a friend who stubbornly refuses to learn this stuff. She’d rather use a phone party line than video chat.
