    It’s quite a talent to be able to make realistic and eye appealing drawings. Many cartoonists have their own style which may or may not appeal to everyone. I’m amazed by some of their work.

    I work with AI art. It’s actually quite difficult to get anything that closely resembles what you have in mind. You get what the AI has in mind.

    Yes, it’s easier to deal with shading and fur rendering, but it’s harder to deal with removing extra fingers and random floating coffee cups.

    It’s a different form of art that requires different skills. I don’t believe AI could currently handle something like duplication of a cartoon character for multiple panels without far more work than just learning to draw.

    Artists complaining about it should try using it. They would, I think, feel a lot more secure.
