"Well, I have a few questions about my character..." "It's going to be tough for the audience to bond with this guy if all he does is terrorize teens with a chainsaw! I mean, what's he all about? What's his motivation?" "Well, remember he is profoundly disturbed..." "Yeah, but does he have to be so weird about it?"
