So now Nate is busy looking for the girl he met at the fair. Does this mean there won’t be any jokes about him and his crush Jenny for a while ?

No need to have shoved the new kid off his feet; a simple STOP hand would have conveyed the same gag. But, hey — I do a daily, too; sometimes fine-tuning is tough.

Does anyone know if Nate (or his friends) are aware they’ve been repeating the same grade for years?

Mostly it looks like it’s just the same old kids from 6th grade back again this year. In the 6th grade. Oh my.

This was very funny to me, probably because I know this is a comic strip. Of course, it would be overboard if they were real. Welcome new kid from Ohio! I’m from OH too – unfortunately I haven’t left yet.

Well I hope it turns out she’s the poor kid’s older sister who will never give Nate a second look. He deserves it.
