Teddy: So you're desperate not to go back to school, and your Dad won't let you take a "gap year."
Nate: Right.
Teddy: What about home schooling?
Dad: Hi, kids!
Guitar: Ploink! Ploink!
Nate: I'm desperate, not insane.
We home schooled both of our kids. Grade-wise they did fine. We did our best to provide a balanced cirriculum, however there is no substitute for school when it comes to developing social skills. They are not monsters by any means, the opposite actually, they both tend toward the shy side.
In my school we do this hybrid program so students only have to go at least 2 times a week and what I do is go on Monday and Tuesday and chill out the rest of the week

Home schooling isn’t that bad. You’ll get to do some quality bonding with your father. I’m sure that’s what you want all along.

Is there a way to communicate to Mr. Lincoln Pierce? Please have Nate go to 7th grade so we can get some new story lines!

Nate would sooner get home schooled than go to 7th grade

Home schooling is awesome. But… Nate’s dad probably wouldn’t be the best at it.

Think about it. Would you rather more spend time with your Dad or Mrs. Godfrey?
