BIG NATE AND THE MANSION MYSTERY: PART 6

Francis, Teddy, and Artur are having breakfast in the dining room, and on the menu today are donuts. As they are chatting while eating their donuts, Nate storms into the dining room with his pajamas on.

Artur: Hallo, Nate! Takes you a seat, please!

Nate looks at Artur straight in the eye, thinking he had something to do with all the nightmares he had. Artur looks back, looking confused.

Artur: Uh, Nate? What is matter with you? Seat, please!

Instead of taking a seat, Nate jumps onto the table and points directly at Artur, squashing on their donuts. Francis, Teddy, and Artur are surprised because of this. Nate has never done anything like this before.

Nate: SPEAK UP, ARTUR!

Teddy: What the-

Francis: Nate, what are you doing?

Nate: HE’S EVIL!

Francis and Teddy, not believing him, look at him like he forgot his homework. Artur, still surprised, chuckles as he begins to say something.

Artur: Nate, I are have no idea on what you are saying! Nice joke! Haha!

Alright so I have an important announcement to make: I will be leaving the Big Nate community, at least for now. I don’t know how long I will be gone, but a large factor is if a certain few stinkers get banned and decide to stop doing what they’re doing. A lot of you are great and amazing people, but those few stinkers make this place miserable and unbearable. I’ll still be on other strips (Primarily Foxtrot and Calvin and Hobbes), but I won’t be here. Anyways I hope you have a great day!

wow, it’s just some Nate look-alike from Britain I’m assuming, which sucks. I really was hoping this storyline would go somewhere, but instead, it’s just another cop-out, kind of like the one where Arthur had a crush on Dee Dee while still liking Jenny.

Maybe Nate thinks it’s an Angie moment(except Teddy’s here now) where his friends will embarrass him. In the next few strips, Francis and Teddy try to get Nate to remember, and tells him embarrassing stories from his past. Nate’s unnamed girlfriend laughs, and that’s the end of their past. This being kinda their fault, Nate and Teddy/Francis split up as well. Then, Nate will be in a time of need, and Francis and Teddy will be there to back him up. They become friends again, and the arc ends with Nate checking out other girls. Theory #2 in the replies

“C’mon, c’mon, just ring already!” It was the last class of the school year, and Nate was eager to get started on summer vacation.But, be it as it may, he was stuck in Mrs. Godfrey’s classroom, waiting for the bell to ring.

Nate was bored, as usual. Normally he would be doodling or napping, but he was so excited for summer to start that he couldn’t doze off, and he didn’t have his doodling supplies with him. The only thing that stopped his boredom was when class was interrupted by a monkey that found it’s way into the room.

“Not bad, if I do say so myself.” Nate thought with a smirk when the monkey left to wreak more havoc in the school. Suddenly, RRRRRRRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGG!!!!! Nate took off like a shot, zooming down the halls as a man being chased by a herd of elephants would. “FREEDOM!!!” Nate shouted as he burst through the school doors. Teddy and Francis quickly caught up to Nate. “So guys, what do we do as our first activity of the summer?” Nate asked in excitement. " Francis and Teddy looked awkwardly at each other. “Uh, Nate, Teddy and I are going to the movies…” Francis began.

“Awesome! I’ll just drop my backpack off at home…” “With the girls.” Francis finished. Nate felt as if the universe was playing a prank on him. “Don’t worry buddy, we’ll have plenty of time to hang out!” Teddy said. C’mon Francis, we got to hurry if we want to be on time" As Nate’s friends ran off, Francis yelled, “Sorry Nate!” Nate felt crushed, his summer excitement now completely gone. Nate began to slowly walk back home.

I used to read big nate before I discovered the true source. The only difference from the books and this place is that you have to wait every day instead of seeing 5 strips per god dang minute because they would already be there.
