Another week done another week awaits, we actually got somewhere though :D

Pierce is dragging Nate and Daphne’s relationship arc! Break them up already, they’ve been dating way too long!

Yeah, the first option is more subtle and less rushy.

Okay, this might not sound big, but it is. The fact that Nate and Daphne didn’t kiss is genuinely surprising. Every time and I mean EVERY time Nate gets a girlfriend, they kiss pretty much instantly after deciding to date or confessing. And the way the two are talking, it almost seems like they wanna try and make it more casual? (Outside of Nate’s idea of announcing it XD)

Another affectionate eye roll btw, that’s gotta be a world record towards Nate XD.

8/10, not the best strip of the week, but I am really happy that Peirce seems to be avoiding his usual tropes (supports my theory) and that these two might be taking it a little slower and more casual. Plus I just enjoy their chemistry, and the joke is good!

Overall week rating: 49/60, officially the highest score yet, thus the best week yet (since i started reviewing, and I agree!).

I do wonder what next week’s arc could be. Assuming this continues (and there’s no reason why not to assume that), what could possibly happen? Will this be the week where they finally go to her house? I’d love that! Or maybe it’s more buildup, Peirce is really dragging in places. Maybe we see someone’s reaction. Maybe they just hang out? Idk!

Predictions for next week’s arc:

1. Kiss

2. Hang out at her house

3. Reactions from Gina/Craig/Kim/Nate’s friends

4. More buildup

5. Drama?

6. Something totally different (if anyone feels like it they could try and guess what that could be XD)

Wow, a lot of people today are pessimistic about where this arc is going, if they don’t want it to end already. Hope Peirce can stick the landing.

To be honest, rating this 4/10, just because of what I really wanted. What I thunk should HAPPEN would be they kiss, which is shockingly surprising, a little sad too I did not get what I wished for, but otherwise, funny comic!

sure has been a long arc, over a month of development. but it was worth it

Nice way to close an arc. Now Daphne will appear like the other characters. Maybe not always, but it will always be nice to see her again. I hope for a future arc with her and Gina talking about it, they seem friend enough to do it and I want to see what Gina will try do for “save” Daphne.

This has got to be one of the longest big Nate arcs ever

Wow! This is not how I thought this Arc would end up like! I thought it would focus more on Gina and Chad. Speaking of which, I wonder how it’s going with them. I also wonder if Pierce reads these comments.

First one is definitely the better option.

I hear quite a few people saying it has lasted too long already, and I agree, but I wanna see a new arc abt something else, but maybe Daphne is a part of it. Or maybe Daphne helps out in one strip. I do think that we need a break from Daphne for awhile. Tomorrow I don’t wanna see a Sunday stop about Daphne. Maybe we see book buddies again. Or some comics by Nate. Whatever the outcome, we need a break from Daphne for a bit. Y’all have a great day. Hope your Saturday is productive.

Daphne is so different from the other girls that Nate’s dated and I think that’s why she’s my favourite out of them all.

lol, i feel like this could be a really good girlfriend arc. this one kinda hits right at home for me because i once had a girlfriend wanted to let people figure out if we were dating or not, meanwhile i just wanted to let the whole world know lol

This arc has been going on for upwards of 8 weeks! When will it end. I also think that this arc will end with them disagreeing on something.
