…I’m really not liking where this is going.

Maybe I’m reading into it wrong, and maybe it’s far more lighthearted than this, but why would Nate be that worried about what Chester thinks of him?…And maybe I’m wrong, but the implications are almost that Nate’s even worried that Daphne is ruining/changing that “legendary rebel” reputation of his.

Is Nate going to choose his rebellious reputation over being with Daphne? I can’t see that…but I honestly don’t even know anymore. Peirce doesn’t seem to be too keen on using Daphne all too much/doesn’t seem to know what to do with her…

So is he trying to find a “believable excuse” to get rid of her in the strip/end the relationship?

Dude…what? This one barely even makes sense- from Nate being worried about what Chester (a school bully, right?) thinks to Nate being worried about his reputation to the school just now figuring out whatever the heck Nate did during the school day to him needing a lawyer

Like I said a couple months ago they will eventually break up and Nate will have to choose his old ways or his new ways my prediction is that he returns to his old ways and breaks up with dalphine like every other girlfriend that he ever had

9/10, really good joke! Does Nate even have a lawyer? P.S. What if this was a two week arc and Francis is Nate’s lawyer in an actual court case? Maybe at the end, Nate will be about to lose, but Daphne comes and saves him.
