Two questions:
.1. Was this pipeline ever built?
.2. Are you a supplier?
.3. What sort of refining does your coffee require to be sent over public pipelines?

Reminds me of a student teacher, a nun, in one of my courses once. The main teacher was a Lutheran minister, and he asked the sister, what they wore under their habit. She led him on, describing how they each got a supply of gunny sacks to cut up and sew into lingerie…

Bmonk Im doing okay i guess. My best friend…. you are all my best friends, but she is the best friend i can hug, is on vacation and i miss her like crazy. she has been gone for almost 3 days. I pass in front of the door or window and i look out and stare at her house wishing she would pull in any second. im terrible i know. because i know she is having fun and getting a break he deserves so i should be happy, yet im not. something is wrong with me im fully aware. i just pray that they are all safe and having fun. That the kids aren’t giving her too much trouble and that the baby is getting better. he was sick Thursday and Friday.

@tabby, I like the story (maybe I’ve told it here before) about the young child, maybe 4-6 years old, who keeps bothering mom, getting out of bed, asking for water, and such. Finally, when mom puts child to bed again (having to leave the party downstairs to do so), finally realizing the child is lonely, says, “Love, you know God is always here with you.”
Child looks up, and says, “Yes, but sometimes I need someone with some skin!”

Well, I mark spring by two flowers: the Prairie Crocus (Spreading Pasqueflower? Anemone patens) that blooms in early spring, even before the snow all melts, and the Lilac, that blooms in early June or so, late spring. Lovely to walk of an evening and catch a whiff of the bushes!
TABBY: Like bmonk says, you need friends with skin on too. That’s why I cherish my collegues and my brothers and sisters at church. Fur works too. Mua is great for cuddling, and he big enough to keep me warm.
But you guys have become such friends, I can’t wait to get home sometimes.

I hurt myself at church during choir practice. The floor was freshly waxed and I went down straight back. to save my head (Don’t ask me WHY, LOL) I tried to keep it up and fell on my backside and left elbow- HARD. At first I thought I was okay and just went to sit for a few minutes. Then the pain started, and they called the church nurse who examined me and put a sling on my arm. and some ice which leaked and then SHE almost fell too. It’s a hazardous place to be when they wax the floors.

Hey everyone Let’s try this again before my post quits. In toonville just now, I forget where, RRAmom says she can’t get in to BT because something the first page is stopping her. I think it may be the talk of .nuclear. and .weapons. or something. She can’t join us until these posts are delted. Problem, we don’t know which ones, but I guess it is on the first page anyways.
I had to go run some errands and then I was chatting with my girls. They’re trying to get me to buy them pizza takeout. Eh, we got pizza in the freezer, what’s the diff? No decent pizza in these parts. If we were in Chicago… lots of great pizza, YUM!
Dry, we call them cardboard pizzas too. If we didn’t have any food in the house I would order some pizza, but we do have food in the house.

i hate chickens. i no longer fill bad when i eat them. lol i was attacked by them. they know what is going on they know who im not and they know what time they come to get the eggs they are smart. the roster came after me bc i pushed a hen away bc she jumped at me and got the bucket missed my hand by an inch. i dont like them i dont like them at all..

I was at Blockbuster this afternoon and there was a fight in the line. It was crazy. The line was backed up because it was raining buckets and the dude behind the counter said that the rain was slowing up the system. So big, bald dude stepped up to the counter and so did a thin, tall dude. They started arguing about whose turn it was and then bald dude head-banged the thin dude. The rest of us in line were like, “what the hey?” Bald dude kept calling the other dude the B word, rhymes with “itch.” Thin dude said “I don’t want to fight you, I got my kids in the car”. Bald dude said that his kids were B’s, rhymes with itches too. Is that psycho or what?
Marg, No, nobody called the police. We were all actually laughing and making jokes after big, bald dude drove off. The blockbuster guy said that the psycho works down the street at the car wash. So they know who he is. I don’t know if the other guy will make a report, he has plenty of witnesses if he does.

You were raised in Brownsville? What a small world. The last Brownsville hurricane I rode out was Beulah. I moved to Houston shortly thereafter…1968 if I recall correctly. I went to a private elementary school and then to the pubic Jr. High. They had just started building Micky Mouse High School when I left.

Never thought I would have to make a withdraw from the Tribal bank, but my back gave out yesterday. I couldn’t sleep last night and could barely move today at work. Fortunately it seems to be going away now. Hope it is gone tomorrow, because work is already hard on my back and neck, being hunched over all day.

Quaby, I was 7 in ‘68. I was born in Brownsville and lived there until the mid-eighties. I lived in Houston for a few months in late “79, early 1980. Several of my cousins in Houston worked at Astroworld so I went there a lot.
Carmy I was 14 in ‘68, 6 or 7 when Carla stalled over Brownsville. Moved to the NASA side of Houston until I married, then lived lived around the area until heading East. We probably didn’t meet, bump into or even share anything in common. Ah well, it is still a small world!
I have always been very fond of Charlie Brown. Used to feel we were one in the same, but as I got older I started to develop move self-confidence and the similarities began to diminish. I ran lots of errands today and spent the day in town. Beautiful weather here again. Unbelievable spring in the Pacific Northwest.

I forgot to give a small update on my weekend. My parents really enjoyed their party. I think the guests did too. It was great to see a lot of people I haven’t seen in a long time.
I wanted to thank whoever posted the “so you know you’re old when” post a few days ago (I can’t see who since you have to be a genius to go back more than 7 days now). I sent that list to my sister-in-law and she embroidered it on a tote bag that we gave away as a door prize.

hey Shika hows the arm? i am still catching up reading docs artical right now.
Doc what happened with the babies? are they healthy? i want to know… quite fin yet but its giving me goose bumps and bringing tears to my eyes.

TABBY: Like bmonk says, you need friends with skin on too. That’s why I cherish my collegues and my brothers and sisters at church. Fur works too. Mua is great for cuddling, and he big enough to keep me warm.
But you guys have become such friends, I can’t wait to get home sometimes.

I hurt myself at church during choir practice. The floor was freshly waxed and I went down straight back. to save my head (Don’t ask me WHY, LOL) I tried to keep it up and fell on my backside and left elbow- HARD. At first I thought I was okay and just went to sit for a few minutes. Then the pain started, and they called the church nurse who examined me and put a sling on my arm. and some ice which leaked and then SHE almost fell too. It’s a hazardous place to be when they wax the floors.

Shiika, yes age certainly can’t be told by the songs we like! My mom loved Benny Goodman when she was young, so as a teenager I heard of lot his music, and love that swing sound!! I like all kinds of music except heavy metal and most country, sorry Tabby!!

Dry, we call them cardboard pizzas too. If we didn’t have any food in the house I would order some pizza, but we do have food in the house. I checked page one and RRAmom posted on there, so I checked for anything questionable after her last post. The only thing I saw that might be locking her out is about Doc’s coffee too. Her filter doesn’t give her a clue to what the problem is?

I was at Blockbuster this afternoon and there was a fight in the line. It was crazy. The line was backed up because it was raining buckets and the dude behind the counter said that the rain was slowing up the system. So big, bald dude stepped up to the counter and so did a thin, tall dude. They started arguing about whose turn it was and then bald dude head-banged the thin dude. The rest of us in line were like, “what the hey?” Bald dude kept calling the other dude the B word, rhymes with “itch.” Thin dude said “I don’t want to fight you, I got my kids in the car”. Bald dude said that his kids were B’s, rhymes with itches too. Is that psycho or what?

Marg, No, nobody called the police. We were all actually laughing and making jokes after big, bald dude drove off. The blockbuster guy said that the psycho works down the street at the car wash. You were raised in Brownsville? What a small world. The last Brownsville hurricane I rode out was Beulah. I moved to Houston shortly thereafter…1968 if I recall correctly. I went to a private elementary school and then to the pubic Jr. High. They had just started building Micky Mouse High School when I left.
I’ll pop back a couple of time, but I’ll probably be off the ‘puter between 8 & 8:30pm….gotta watch House.

CARMY, TABBY and those who were wondering: My arm’s okay as long as I rest often and ice it. I can’t put my backpack on though. I’m staying put for the time being.
Mua’s not happy. He sleeps on my left side, with my arm around him and his head on my shoulder. Last night I had to lie so he could only sleep on my right side. It’s not the same for him apparently.

Hello all! Never thought I would have to make a withdraw from the Tribal bank, but my back gave out yesterday. I couldn’t sleep last night and could barely move today at work. Fortunately it seems to be going away now. Hope it is gone tomorrow, because work is already hard on my back and neck, being hunched over all day. Shika, hope for Mua’s sake that your arm is better soon. Tabby, good luck on whichever test you end up taking. As for the chickens, you have to let them know who is boss, even if that means introducing them to the back of your hand if they charge. (I am referring to swatting the away.) Carmy, I guess baldy had to be somewhere. People like that aggravate me.

Quaby, I was 7 in ‘68. I was born in Brownsville and lived there until the mid-eighties. I lived in Houston for a few months in late “79, early 1980. Several of my cousins in Houston worked at Astroworld so I went there a lot.

Carmy I was 14 in ‘68, 6 or 7 when Carla stalled over Brownsville. Moved to the NASA side of Houston until I married, then lived lived around the area until heading East. We probably didn’t meet, bump into or even share anything in common. Ah well, it is still a small world!

I have always been very fond of Charlie Brown. Used to feel we were one in the same, but as I got older I started to develop move self-confidence and the similarities began to diminish. RRAMom, that was cool about how to find the dominant eye - I’m right handed and my left eye is dominant. I guess that’s good for me, since I damaged a nerve in my right eye, making it not as useful.

I forgot to give a small update on my weekend. My parents really enjoyed their party. I think the guests did too. It was great to see a lot of people I haven’t seen in a long time.
I wanted to thank whoever posted the “so you know you’re old when” post a few days ago (I can’t see who since you have to be a genius to go back more than 7 days now). I sent that list to my sister-in-law and she embroidered it on a tote bag that we gave away as a door prize.
