I don’t imagine **Shika heard the uproar safely ensconced in her RV.

squinting WOW I don’t think I’ve ever seen the tent so clean & sparkly. Thanks! Morning all. I brought some fresh juice, coffee & tea. Stopped at the bakery & picked up some coffee cake & scones. I’m not sure what flavors, but they smell yummy! I think I spotted some leftover preserves & marmalade on the corner of the counter over there if you’d like some.

I’ll also leave some ham, bacon, fruit, fresh veggies & dips for brunch since I’m a tad late…again.

Tabby - I put the yogurt back in the fridge for you. I think it was still good but you had better check it before you eat any. snicker

One thing about visiting, I don’t get on a computer very often. At least today I got caught up on day’s posts. But it has been a very good holiday. I’ll miss my family when I go home ;-(

Went to the Farmer’s Market, which had the best array of fruits and vegetables I have ever seen on display there and then back at home just hanging out on the lake with a breezy summer day in the low 80s. BBL after I check out the comments from earlier.

Intermission - family movies. They sure are fun to watch! I saw JFri’s comment too - was he referring to you, Marg? ;-) Carmy they are coming out in August so it won’t be too long. It is during the winter that it is a loooooong time between visits.

Well, it looks like I didn’t miss out on much. Very few comments. I never saw doctortoon emerge from his tent and Shika keeps sticking her tongue out threw the window of her RV. A couple of poor hosts if you ask me. All they think about is themselves. Well I say we stage an all out water balloon attack on doctortoon and let the air out of the tires of **Shika’s comfortable wheeled tent.

No it wasn’t very hot out. It was the ground being so wet. Every time I set the ladder up to reach the higher parts of the windows, it would sink into the ground. It was very frustrating and nerve-racking. Dry, I guess I could add you to the list. (I have some another house I have to do also.) Beware though, I tend to be a messy painter.

Me too! What I did, was stand on the bottom step and let it sink down, usually til the bottom step was at the ground, and then the ladder finally stopped, and then I could climb up higher. I think tomorrow I have to go back out and do some more work on it, so I might be heading to bed soon.

Well, my movie was interesting. It was nominated for a bunch of academy awards and as far as I am concerned Streep should have won best actress. I have never seen her give a bette performance and that is saying a lot.

Oh yeah, that is no problem Tabby, I didn’t really grow up 100% yet either, although I am definitely not as much of a kid as I used to be. Dry, that sub sounds really good, but now I only have sleep on my mind, so I think I will head to bed now. Good night and peace and love to all!

Dry - Doubt was the movie. Last night my wife and I had her mother out for the night an we could not stay awake through it. Her mother told us to stick with it and the movie has great acting. Streep was incredible and Amy Adams and Streep are going to be together again in a movie releasing on August 7, called “Julia and Julia”, with Streep playing Julia Child. It is supposed to be really good.

cleo The River Wild?

JFriL - The Rive Wild was a good movie, one of those movies that kind of went with the whole Deliverance theme. That was filmed in your neck of the woods, if I am not mistaken, on the Rogue River. Am I right?

Dry - I love hot peppers. The only person that I have met that is my match is a Persian friend of mine who was ’hot’ for peppers as well. I have matured in my tastes more recently though. I still love the heat, but don’t want it to mask the flavor of the dish that I am eating.

Carmy welcome home how are you doing? i hope well and the girls? are they doing well also… if you dont mind me asking that is… you do knwo you can just skip this and pretend like you never saw it… i would understand.

carmy - Yes habanero & scotch peppers, which I believe are the same, are the hottest of peppers. I have heard some talk of a new pepper, which is way hotter. I myself, don’t think we need a hotter pepper myself.

Tabby, the girls and I are all doing okay. No need to skip or pretend.

Ghost Frost pepper is supposed to be way hotter!

Tabby, I, for one, don’t think asking how someone is or asking about family is too personal for here. The questions you want to avoid are those that might identify the person - like names, names of all the family members, ages, addresses, things like that. And if this world, and some people in it, weren’t so scary, even questions like that would be OK. But since this is the Internet and some people are not as nice, we have to be very careful. You are a hard working and very caring person and naturally are interested in how people are doing. Don’t stop being yourself.

You know I can’t leave this hanging at 199. So I’ll sneak in that my bday was in June. If you remember to ask me next year, I might give the day
