Good Morning all. Another clear, cold, windy day. Yesterday it felt like I was back in bmonk’s stomping grounds, where I spent my youth.

Tabby great breakfast. I will have eggs over medium, ham and french toast. Thank you sweetie and as I mentioned above it is cold enough. 31 degrees, but the wind makes it feel like it is about 15.

I guess that I should have read all of the posts before talking about how cold it is. You have got me beat Doc, but then you live for the weather that you are getting. I am sure Wildcheetah made your snow shoveling efforts worthwhile. ;-)

Good morning all! It was - for us - REALLY cold when we woke this morning. 31 F, and frost. I had to clean out the back seat of my car to find the scraper. The scraper is a relic form my youth in Ohio. Most people here use a credit card, scrape off a tiny clear spot, and take off. Rather scary to drive on a froswty morning down here.

OK so I exaggerated on the amount of snow I was looking at yesterday. It looked like more than it was. I’m guessing it was heavier than Doc cleaned off his car. Surprisingly I didn’t have to scrape until I actually tried to go somewhere a few hours later. The road maintenance folks did an excellent job around here so HATS OFF to them!

Some neighborhood kids made a fine snow family on the corner so passers-by are stopping to smile. Ahh, youth!

When UT decided their mascot was a longhorn, they were trying to think of an appropriate name for it. While they were deliberating they played TAMU (Texas A&M University). After a humiliating loss the Aggies decided to make it really painful for the Teasips and branded in large numbers on the steer’s side “13 - 0” The next morning the Teasips found their mascot bearing the humiliating score and, after some deliberation, did some touchup branding of their own. They connected the top and bottom of the 1 and 3, turned the - into an E and squeezed a V in front of the 0, thus giving the mascot the name BEVO. To this day Aggies delight in the knowledge they help the Teasips name their mascot.

celecca for me it is a no brainer. I have a lovely wife, we have a lovely home, we enjoy doing things together and traveling. Fooling around with someone else just ruins everything. If the thought enters your mind it would be best to think about your relationship. If it means something you pass on the temptation. If it doesn’t you talk it over with your spouse and either get help or move along. Fooling around behind your spouses back is acting like a fool and not taking responsibility for either ending your relationship or seeking advice on how to turn a relationship around.

i went to the saints game where they played themselfs a while back with my step dad and step brother. well durring half time they gave autographs. so we rushed to get them signd we had great seats i remember that not sure where but they were great. well handed my football to the first football player i saw (no clue of the names) he handed it back and said “i dont sign for girls” (first off what kind of football player wont sigh something for a girl??? dosent any guy want women to be drolling over them? ) then i did it again to a new player and same thing not for girls. i gave up shortly and went sit down. my step brother got all kids of autographs. not me. and oh boy did he rub that in my face. step dad told me to “man up” so i sat there the rest of the game not caring what happened.

I put up our Christmas tree with Wolfangil & the kids today. Even our second daughter showed up to help. She is in an aptartment with friends, so she went out of her way to do this. Nice.

Tabby we all have those days where we wonder why we ever decided to go to school, but in the long run it beats a steady gig at your local fast food drive up window. We, your elders, went through those same feelings, over and over, and over again. Just hang in there. It doesn’t get better, but it does eventually end.

Tabby when I said that it doesn’t get better, I meant that it is always tough, because you are always challenged. If I said that it gets better I would be giving you a false illusion.
