celecca - I actually didn’t see your troll feeding the other day. I don’t read all of the comics on gocomics because with my .5 speed dial up it just takes too long. We all feed the trolls sometimes (nobody’s perfect). I certainly don’t advocate letting them walk all over you. It is the people who are unnecessarily cruel or seem to post sometimes just to put people down that frustrate and sadden me.

Shikamoo - I call myself a ‘nonpracticing agnostic’ because I’m not sure how one practices being agnostic (and it’s entertaining to watch people’s reaction to that phrase LOL). I actually am not sure if there is a God (or Gods or whatever). Any belief system I have learned of have things I do and do not agree with. Also I have had some very negative experiences with people who claimed to be ‘good’ Christians, that tend to make me wary.

I admire people who have found faith that helps to bring them a sense of peace and inner happiness. And that is definitely enough about religion from me.

Cleo I was thinking your new ceiling fan would look really neat if it was painted with one blade electric blue. one hot pink, one lime green and one a bright, sunny yellow. Then you could be cheered by watching the colors twirl by.

Good Morning, I came to see why JFri had posted a menu over at Argyle;-) I’ve only had my grapefruit so far, because I got up at 5 and I eat that while I do cartoons on 4 sites. It’s great to start the day with giggles, but now I’ve started thinking about that french toast with maple syrup, and I have a box of blueberries in the frig- guess I’ll go make some.

Speaking of football and commercials and bad half-time shows (a Super Bowl staple, apparently), my brother really liked The Who back in the day. I still remember most of Tommy, and The Far Side of the Moon, among others. Never played it for myself either.

Yes we do, JFri - we have the warmest year round temp in Canada. We often find it clearer here than in Victoria and our summers are quite a bit warmer although we do get a little more snow - about three or four days of it this year.

Our weather seems to be much more like Cleo’s than yours - you are farther south aren’t you?

It is a beautiful day here with partly cloudy skies and the lake is like glass.

The sun just came from behind the clouds! We’ve got to get outside. Spent time yesterday pulling Daphne and the last few bits of broom. At least I carried it to the burn pile - I couldn’t pull it - it’s really stuck.

It is hard to know what to do, with painters occupying the living room and furniture cluttering the whole dining room and one bedroom and it’s tough getting up to the office because they are painting both sides of the stairway.

So Shika, you too, or more appropriately… et tu brute. Dry & JFri, yes painting is such tough work, that is why you both do such cruddy work. With your painting abilities I think getting a State job is in your future, you can paint all the white and yellow lines on the highways. That would be such a great means of reducing the surplus population.

Well, that is good, but I still won’t be around much for the next couple of weeks. Maybe a post or two later like tonight. Just so no one worries more than usual.

I tried to be conservative the rest of the day, because I’ve been doing well at maintaining within my ideal weight;-)
