I’ve seen the word before, but never heard it pronounced, as we don’t have any around here, I think. Red-tailed hawks, sharp-shin hawks, turkey vultures, bald eagles, even a merlin once, but never a “Jer-Falcon.” I must say, I particularly like the Gear-Falcon. Thank you, Ms. Rosemary!
