Lewreader, I see a face on the top of Topakā€™s spear, on the dudeā€™s garment and on the cave wall right above Topakā€™s head. There might be more, but my eyes are too tired. Send me your shrinkā€™s bill, I still have some virtual cash.

Thereā€™s a face in the pine tree, but itā€™s looking away from you right now so you canā€™t see itā€¦

    chasm_b,

Thanks for checking the spelling on ā€˜Paleolithicā€™.

You are correct, of course, though Iā€™m concerned that historically, people of the Stone Age probably didnā€™t worry much about their spelling, soā€¦ no, that wonā€™t work.

Iā€™ve sent in the correction and thank you for catching my error and making my embarrassment international. I hope you were duly offended by the error - Iā€™d be offended if you werenā€™t.

Of course, I am THE birdbrain, so Iā€™ll use that excuse.

And thank you all for reading this stoned cartoon.

BTW, Doc, still working on my atl atl. :)

    Thom

Topak is holding a shrunken (stone) head in his right hand. The bear isnā€™t hungry- heā€™s angry.

Thom- Good hisorical insights today. Very offensive too.

Grog What age are you from? You speak English!

Geez, Thom! Here I thought you intentionally had misspelled the word. Now I am offended that I was tricked. I think. Maybe. Well anyhow, I am offended.

BTWā€“Thanks for putting up with this rocky bunch!

Chief Thom Thom didnā€™t misspell anything, guys!

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Paleolithic

Only sometimes is the word found as ā€œpaleolithicā€. Usually it isnā€™t.

Because the ā€œother spellingā€ is so rare, I guess. Maybe itā€™s because itā€™s, uh, Paleolithic as well. :))
