I love the army. The army gave me my first pair of boots.

One reason I am no longer married is that when I would write a heartfelt short story about love, pain, life and hope, my wife’s only comment would be to point out typographical errors.

My roommate in college had an “admirer” who was very clingy. She kept sending him love notes. Finally he corrected every single grammatical and spelling error in a note – gave it a failing grade, and sent it back to her. I don’t think he got any more notes from her.

Doesn’t even seem to bother her that my name isn’t John.

Confefy. I think she deserves a Noble Prize

IRL, if you value education and want your kids to have the opportunities that result from a good education, then you had better not marry someone who doesn’t share this value.
