My friend’s dog, Ms. Muttley, knew when he was a half-a-block away.

A cat would never admit to that

The cat just shakes its’ head in embarrassment for the dog.

My last dog went entirely deaf. As she aged, I could sometimes come home, come inside, put groceries away, sit down, read a book for an hour or two, and then she would wake up and be so excited that I was finally home! She lived to be 15, and was losing eyesight, too. Great dog!
