There is a reason a good barn cat is called a mouser. My last beagle was a mouser once. The second time she was too old, and I was trying to call the company our condo association uses to take care of such things. They told me it would be a few days. I said my dog would be dead by then from trying to catch it. I called them the next day and said never mind, the mouse died wrapped around my dog’s water dish. I was so disgusted. I send an email to our board president to suggest we buy a few humane mouse traps to keep and loan out to anyone who gets a mouse inside. It would save money and be more humane. I was ignored. We live near a pond and a nature preserve, sandy ground, there will be critters, almost all outside. So far, no deer in my living room.

hard to read, I guess it says “beat up mouse”. Don’t cats kill mice, not beat them up?

Old folks: “Children don’t even know how to write in cursive anymore!” Also old folks: “Movae.”

I think it’s mouse, but it took some time to figure it out.
