I saw Bob Hope in Viet Nam … and Connie Stevens sang songs just to me … and about ten thousand other GIs up on the side of that mountain.

I’d hold out for Phyllis Diller.

By all means - please sing, don’t shoot! (Unless we’re talking Yoko Ono, then I’d prefer shooting!)

That poor little penguin has good reason to abandon Hope.

Personally, I always liked Rodney Dangerfield better. Even Henny Youngman had a few classics amongst the groaners.

I recently read an article about an annual trip the USO arranges for cartoonists to visit American troops. Good for the USO!
