Lew, Fleetwood Mac was POP group. Judas Priest was heavy metal. They’re both kind of passe now. Even MTV has managed to become a reality show farce. Keep with “current events”. How you going to know who to vote for otherwise? ;-)
Judas Priest will liven the event up with the Meadow Party’s new theme song, “Some Heads Are Gonna Roll”, followed by Steve Dallas’s theme song “Living After Midnight”. I’d like to be at that convention!
Longer ago than I care to admit, I bought a “Don’t Blame Me, I Voted For Bill ‘n’ Opus” T-shirt. I still drag it out on election days… to the consternation of my wife… :)
Don’t blame me, I voted for Ford. Haven’t voted for a major party candidate for Pres in November, since.
In ‘84, I may have been annoyed enough to vote for Gus Hall. I was looking for work, commies like that.
I know what I’m voting against tomorrow. For would be a nice change.

Milo’s introductory remarks do not bode well for the Meadow Convention!
BTW, I love that poster on the lectern!

They’d only have gotten everything wrong anyway. As would FOX and CNN if they had existed back then.

Judas Priest/Fleetwood Mac. A rock group is a rock group.

It will be one rocking convention. The truth is, It will probably make more sense with the music than without it.

I’m proud to say that I voted a straight Meadow party ticket in the 1984 election. Bill’n Opus in 2012!!

To be fair to Binkley, he might have been busy bleaching the house after the Stormee affair…
