I used to read it when I was one of those boys. I remember how grossed out I was when Playgirl appeared. ( ya I know..total double standard ) Is that even still being published? Now, if Iām at the barber and I have a bunch of magazines to choose from I usually pick Outdoor Life or something. Must be getting oldā¦
One of my older brothers used to get Playboy; I would actually take them after he read them. I liked some of the articles and LOVED the cartoons! My particular favorite was the skinny old lady who tried to be sexy. Cracked me up every time. I was about 10.
One of my al time favorite stories was in the 70ās. It had the Grand Duchy of Nieuw Amsterdam with the Duke being John V. Lindsay. Two of the great sayings were "I knocketh a serf to the turf for thee, my love. āVassals are passels of manure.ā was the other piece of trash talk involved.
