    I can sympathize, to a point. By the most optimistic analysis I’m at least 3/4 of the way through any reasonable life expectancy. OTOH, I certainly DID know when puberty happened, and, best as I was able, I took full enjoyment of it…

    Men were not known for longevity in my family; my grandfathers and great uncles didn’t live to see 70. When my dad turned 70, I cried and cried, thinking he had one foot in the grave. He’s turning 90 in 2 months, and is still in great health & fairly active…doesn’t even need a cane.
