I’m sure many people find the weekly staples expensive.
Oh my. Oh my my my my. A telephone handset modem! And the days before (strong) passwords and firewalls…
Only $960 for booze? History is full of politicians who do twice that amount. At least.
Governor Lepetomane?
Oh my! Anybody recognize what the telephone is sitting on? It’s a very early acoustic coupler. This was before PCs could handle modem cards.
Are you sure that’s not backwards? I can see $143K for scotch, and $960 for staples. Still a lot of staples. (Not a lot of scotch, if it’s the good stuff!).
I’m surprised there isn’t a big expense item for shredders. Slows down those pesky accounting auditors.
Certainly unjustified expenses, but not unbelievable prices (I recently saw an ad for a bottle of wine at an “on sale” price of over $3200!)….
