I really hate it when people “high road” you, but in the realm of actual problems in the world, this ranks at the absolute bottom. You don’t like the new person? Stop reading it. You don’t want the cartoon continuing without you if you’re the creator? Put it in your contract. If they “force” you to do it, then don’t sign the contract.

Breathed should have drawn Scarlett O’Hara as the character immortalized by Carol Burnett in the “Gone With The Wind” segment on her show, complete with the curtain rod…

Is Scarlett a reference to “Scarlett” (1991) or “The Wind Done Gone” (2001)? No way I can see the pub date on this comic.

The net had much broadband & weak content. They couldn’t monetize it until they sold the whole thing as ad space. Then they sold ad free content, then put ads on that to sell the “Premium” package. Basic extortion, pay me to go away. I didn’t buy or sell, or even do selfies, so fb decided I wasn’t a real person & deleted me. Yet, the ravens still surf the wind through the palm trees, & mating turkey buzzards do an amusing impersonation of biplanes.

That actually looks a lot more like Jerry Scott’s version of Nancy than Ernie Bushmiller’s!

I didn’t even remember that they had tried to continue or bring back Pogo post-Walt Kelly.
