The Boondocks by Aaron McGruder for April 02, 2014
Transcript:
Granddad: Hey, boy. Huey: Why, good morning, grandfather. 'Tis a beautiful day. After my morning constitutional, I plan on having a bit of tea, reading a few selections from Henry David Thoreau, and watching the golf channel until supper. I do hope you'll be able to join me. Granddad: Stay off the drugs, son. Huey: Whatever are you referring to, dear grandfather?
I apologize, I have not been able to read Boondocks in a LONG TIME, and just realized that the cartoon was here. So, would anyone be able to give me a synopsis leading up to this point concerning Huey and Riley…. are they now living with their Grandfather? If so, what happened or changed? Were they previously in a different school district or were the previously actually home schooled? What lead to their going to this J. Edgar Hoover Elementary School?
