TLDR

I have worked for a government agency (a state college) and my sister has worked for many different governmental agencies. I can tell you from personal experience that most government employees are hard working people who started working for the government to make a change in the world. I also know that there are many people who are just putting in their time, doing the least amount of work that they can to just get their paycheck and benefits; but I see that in the private sector as well.

Political party affiliation has little to do with if someone is diligent or lazy.

The cartoon objectively illustrates elected or appointed federal government jobs irrespective of party affiliation.

Wait a minute, I had a government job and I……OK, I was lazy.
