    Real world numbers:

    Real gross domestic product (GDP) increased at an annual rate of 4.9 percent in the third quarter of 2023.

    Personal income increased $81.6 billion (0.4 percent at a monthly rate) in November. Disposable personal income (DPI)—personal income less personal current taxes—increased $71.9 billion (0.4 percent).

    Personal outlays—the sum of personal consumption expenditures (PCE), personal interest payments, and personal current transfer payments—increased $47.8 billion (0.2 percent) and consumer spending increased $46.7 billion (0.2 percent). Personal saving was $839.8 billion and the personal saving rate—personal saving as a percentage of disposable personal income—was 4.1 percent in November.

    The U.S. current-account deficit narrowed by $16.5 billion, or 7.6 percent, to $200.3 billion in the third quarter of 2023.

    Real gross domestic product (GDP) increased in all 50 states and the District of Columbia in the third quarter of 2023.

    U.S. economy returned to pre-pandemic trend growth more quickly than expected.

    U.S. core CPI inflation (excluding food and energy) has declined significantly over the last 12 months.

    Gas here is $2.39 a gallon for regular unleaded. Food costs are down, dozen eggs are $1.29.

    This is why these cartoonists are conservatives. They don’t give a thought to the actual product from policies which are objectively collected and compared, they just tell you whether you should like them or not.

    Trump lost 2.9 million jobs in 4 years. Biden gained 14 million jobs in 3 years. Those are objective. Whether they are “naughty” or “nice” is subjective, it’s an imposition of ego on fact.
