The modern education system is the most corrupt entity in the country.
a generation ago all you needed to be a school librarian was a HS degree and to like kids and books. Now? Not 1, but 2 masters degrees (Education and Librarian Studies). The cost for a Master’s comes in at about $240,000. The starting pay for a school librarian? $50,000.
It isn’t an education system, it is indentured servitude.
