Do you want them to leave. Or are you trying to start a donnybrook.

What if they voted same as you? Lets get the party started!

Want to start a real knock down, drag out kerfuffle? Just tell them you both voted for Greta Thunberg!

I see what appears to may be a MAGA hat, so I assume they made the sensible choice

Never discuss politics or religion at the dinner table, or anywhere else, for that matter. Especially NOT on Comics comment sections, where 95% of us come for COMIC RELIEF, from those who blast their opinions, regardless of anybody else’s opinion & also believe we all need to have THEIR opinion as OUR opinion elsewhere in the world!

Society can’t discuss those topics. We only know how to argue (based on opinion, not fact) those topics.

I always lead with: So, what do you think about global warning?

Tell the room you voted for the Easter Bunny, and see the reactions. He promised more chocolate for everyone. Santa Claus didn’t get my vote cause he never brings what I want, and he drank all my beer!

But sometimes, the subject of a comic just begs for political comments, so don’t blame the respondents. Blame the cartoonists.
