I use big scavenged empty wire rolls. Never a problem.

Scissors are great at eliminating tangles in strings of lights. Pro tip: make sure they’re not plugged in.
Should’ve checked with Earl from Pickles and hung it up just like he found them.

Just like the Gordian Knot, you cut it in half, throw it away and buy some new ones…..
