It always such Wonderful Wednesday with these fabulous fun funnies called BOZO!
Yes, these wonderful wordless wonders that are timeless classics which still comes like a fresh fragrant breeze even after so many decades and eras.
And why wouldn’t they, for they was created by a tremendously talented self made master cartoonist FoXo Reardon who may be lesser known but was no lesser than any great cartoonist of any time period.
Not believes me? Just look at any of his BOZO comics and you’ll see for yourself. He never needed his characters to utter a single word to tell his funny tales.
Each panel of BOZO is like a photograph of a realistic looking three dimensional cartoon world and you can actually feels the depth and details in every scene of every picture here in this excellent epitome of picture speaking thousand words.
And FoXo gave splendid details, foregrounds, backgrounds and everything in between, peoples, objects, and things at different focal points from the audience.
A great example for FoXo’s attention to detail can be found in the first strip today “All Wet”. See the background in second panel. You can see that the bedroom with bed is in between the bathroom sink and window looking outside. Any typical cartoonist wouldn’t have gone to this extent of details and would just show character filling water from sink without much thought to remaining elements in scene.
And the busy city scene of second strip is so splendidly done. And also the third one today, the scene is splendidly done with fantastic finesse. And it look like as if scene was shot at least three different angles.
FoXo’s picturisations in every strip are simply so splendid that these comics are a splendid joy to see. After all, comics are primarily a medium of expression through artwork, and…
