I’m fairly new to this strip – found it less that a year ago – I love the chance to see it from the beginning! And even if I had seen them before I’d still love them! We all watch reruns on tv, don’t we? And I subscribe to Garfield Classics, too! Thank you Georgia for sharing your gifts with us!

Me, too. It should have the story of Tommy’s Christmas in it. That sparks many, many tears of joy.

Ahh…this was one my favorite strips. Nice to see it again.

When you are loved by a cat you know you have something good in you.

I just posted this on yesterday’s strip, but I think that it can be repeated on today’s strip….
May I? Thank you. You said that there was no need for them to be mean about it and yet you wrote, and I quote, “If tomorrow is another rerun, I’m going to scream at the top of my lungs. I’m serious.” How ARE people supposed to react to that? These people here are true blue fans of Georgia and the furbabies and they understand what Georgia meant, so they are just defending her.
I will reiterate what a few said…how would you like it if you had to take some time off of work for a few weeks and somebody, who enjoys what you do, says the same thing you said. How would you feel? Do you think that your co-workers will just shrug off their comment or defend you for taking the time off, which was explained as to why you were taking the time off.
If you meant for your comment to be funny about it being another rerun, it didn’t work.

I think we’ve given Luke, The Crybaby, enough attention. So far today there hasn’t been one comment on today’s strip because of him. Let’s treat him like a troll- ignore him.

I don’t know which reporter I love most today. Lupin slyly explaining his way of getting over illness. Pucky being so loveable. I’m sure there are things he’d rather be doing, such as looking out the window at the birds or curling up in a sunbeam but he’s cuddling with his Woman because he knows she needs it. And then there’s Elvis, the ferocious protector. Nobody, but nobody, is going to approach without proper I.D.!

@Lukefunnies – go away. You’re rude.

This must reflect the first couple of months with Woman & Man as a couple because Elvis totally loves man now. Love the bushy tail and the swipes!

I’m currently sick with a cold too, but I’m afraid I don’t look as gorgeous as Georgia with it! LOL

We have a print of this one hanging in our bedroom. Our cats are like Georgia’s. When someone is sick they all want to help out. I caught one tasting a bowl of chicken soup (made from scratch) and had to keep it away for fear of the cat consuming all of it. Good luck on the move and resettlement to Georgia and the kids and cats and man and all that. And if I did not say in any other post, thank you to Georgia and her family for this strip and all the great commenters here.

Loving “the biggest spoon”. My second wife was so jealous of the 15-year-old cat I brought to our marriage. One day she suggested the cat sleep in another room; I suggested I sleep in the room with the cat. Never heard her suggestion again.

These are the strips that made me a BCN fan. The cats are doing properly cat things. No disrespectful mice.
And tea, British mysteries, rest, cats to cuddle, and a good, fierce, guard cat, are a great way of recovering from illness. Nearly as good as throwing up behind the fridge.

“I prefer throwing up behind the fridge, myself.”
Well, that’s honesty!
