Lupin: There's a thunderstorm outside. We go now to Elvis for more. Elvis: Studies have shown lightning can't find you in the linen closet. Puck: Lighting also cannot find you in a drawer. Lupin: What about thunder? Elvis: Thunder can find you anywhere. Puck: Thunder doesn't mess around. BOOM! Lupin: What about reports that thunder is related to the vacuum cleaner. Elvis: Let's let science decide.

A Great illustration Georgia. I must have missed this one having seen most all since BCN began. Grateful for reruns. Our Shellie snuggles closer to us at night as sky artillery carries on during night thunder storms, as sound echoes off mountains surrounding us in Oro Valley, AZ.

My little ones aren’t fond of thunder either. But I learned that if I see the lightening, I can say “boom boom babies”, they are fine. If there is thunder and I didn’t say that, they give me a dirty look.

Well, our intrepid reporters will be less subject to the whims of thunder and lightning in the Pacific Northwest now. I have to admit that I miss the old fashioned thunder and lightning storm of my childhood in Texas. Here in Portland, Oregon more of a steady rain than a big light show.

Lupin’s fat tail in the BOOM panel – priceless. =D (And I never thought about deaf cats feeling the vibrations, which are most likely as terrifying as the thunder noises.)
