Varnes….yeah….I, too, have a few comments I can’t use…LOL
But it reminds me of the now defunct Comics.com…
Their computerised “nanny-bot”, as you may remember, would bleep out the alternative word for rooster… replacing it with something like “|$?|$?”…even if it was part of another word!
So people substituted zero for the “o”, or used the word “rooster”, as in c0cktail and Hitchrooster…until….. ..someone…and it just might have been (cough) …me ..discovered that an actual anatomical word didn’t get bleeped.
So some people…. and you know who you are….started calling the famous director “Alfred Hitchpenis.”
