    Um… ??

Any illness, disability, disorder, or even zombiefication you already have when you apply for insurance is a “pre-existing condition”…The rules say they can’t refuse to cover it… NOT that you need one to get coverage.

    So… er… sorry, but, huh?

What if I’m a zombie, but in the country illegally? … Thanks!! That was easy!

I think it would fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act, myself.

Pre in the insurance company’s view is before you became an insured. Catch it after your covered and your covered.

Mr. Dickerson is expressing it incorrectly. It is a pre-existing condition, but it’s not a pre-existing MEDICAL condition..But he’d best be careful. His brain might be considered a pre-existing condiment.

pre-existing means something was in existence prior to some particular time where it becomes important.
