…and in the next panel: “And I only got this invisible puppy for my 10th birthday, how do you explain that?

…and how come that the son’s hands are now visible?

Oh wonderful, another one of those “I did this all for you” stories!

His hands aren’t visible… those are just the handprints against the glass walls of the mime box.

Just wait till he finds out that the invisible Nintendo he got last Christmas is really just an old invisible TV remote….

Why are his hands showing now? Were they in his pockets before?

Actually if you look in the other strip his hands are against his sides. It is kinda hard to see but they are there.

Invisibility is bound to make family matters a little more complicated
