A potential piece of pie can contain any number of calories from zero to infinity. Once you eat it, however, it ceases to be potential, the number of calories will set itself to meet your very worst expectation, and every single one of those calories is guaranteed to increase the size of your butt.
Taste, smell, and feel are part of “observing”. So the quantum state of that pie is certainly collapsed. Actually, the “observing” in QM theory is much more low level than hum senses (although human senses necessarily involve).
Stuart, QM theory also postulates infinate realities. How cool is that? Is it like a spectrum, is there another reality right next to us? If we could somehow change our vibration, could we go back and forth between the ones that are near us? I hope so…

In the land of the blind the one eyed man is the only observer of reality?

Pass the blindfold and a slice!

Anything is possible, Brewster? Including your getting a clue?
This I have to see (pardon the pun).

I think starving when one can’t afford food disproves theoretical anything. That and the freezing to death.

I always heard that “ignorance is hereditary, you get it from your kids”. But apparently you can also get it from Brewster.

When I drive with my blindfold on, how come I can still tell there are other cars on the road? Man they make a racket…

I don’t think I’ve seen any really fat blind people.

Dr. Mel is a clear example of the blind leading the blind.

Bad news, Brewster: We can all see you, and you’re still stupid.

No calories, maybe, but it tastes like protons.

This works. Really.

Any sensory input counts as observation. Calorie free food is tasteless.

If a tree eats some pecan pie in a forest and no one hears it, does it still get cellulite?

So if Winky puts on a blindfold, will that keep his spleen intact?
rvonluchen almost 15 years ago
The uncertainty principle says that if you eat a pie blindfolded you can’t tell whose stomach it will end up in.
Trebor39 almost 15 years ago
Pie in the sky is a good thing because you can’t reach it and eat it.
