I thought it was the other way around, when you are a kid you think you know everything because you don’t know what you don’t know

Once you know the answers, new questions come up.

The answer is: No matter how older or wiser we get, we’ll never know everything … We only hope that we all know what we need to know to be good in this world, and to know what we need to know to survive … :)

I don’t even have all the questions.

Suffice it to say, you’ll know more than you do now.

I’m 52, and I’m still trying to figure things out. And to make things worse, Bermuda’s retirement age might go up to 70. So…

It good when you realize most of the questions are irrelevant.

I wish I could remember who wrote that when she was little, she marveled at the fact that Grownups were so steady and resourceful and aware of everything and capable of anything and so well-centered and so wise and clever, and she yearned for that state of masterful control. Then she grew up, and found out the truth.

After reaching adulthood, you notice that most of what you worried about doesn’t matter and that there are other, fewer important battles.

High school students have it all figured out. “When I turn 18, I’m going to get emancipated! I’m gonna move out. Get a job. Get a car, Get an apartment. It’s gonna be tight! No ones gonna tell me what to do!” I try not to laugh too hard!
