i guess it’s the inflation.. the economics of a nation..
Cash flow analysis of capitalism and its industries..
A quarter of a century.. it’s only plastic money..
Don’t worry Nerwin, i still have some spare change at my piggy bank account. Here’s a penny, a nickel and a dime..
Don’t worry, sleep well and dream big dreams.
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there’ll be sun..
And by then on you can already buy a quarter-pounder
at the local fastfood diner..
Clark Kent–not quite. The loonie’s sitting around 97 cents right now. Still a big rise from, say, eight years ago, when I bought my bagpipes from a Canadian shoppe and benefitted from the loonie being down around 75 cents. I think it did get up over one US dollar in value for a while, right after the US economy tanked (same time the Euro shot up), but our economy is so big we’ve pretty much dragged the rest of the world (except China, of course) down with us…
In the first panel of the middle row, does the sun seem… evil? If so, it would certainly explain this heat wave.

Nerwin, Nerwin, Nerwin… listen to your Uncle Arthur (C. Clarke). “Not everything rare is valuable - but everything valuable is rare.” We’re not exactly talking about an elephant tusk here.
(Bonus points if anyone can tell me what novel that came from… more if you can tell me the context!)

That’s what got us into this lousy economy in the first place.

I got a quarter per tooth too. But you could actually buy something with a quarter 40 years ago!
