While in basic at Camp Lejeune, a fellow in my company drew 2 hours extra-duty for not having enough for everybody. The charge was “Failure to exhibit team spirit”. I wrote my mother about this and asked her to send enough chocolate chip cookies (her masterpiece) for the whole company.I drew 4 hours extra-duty for “Distributing non-government-approved foodstuffs”.Thus was the end of my comedy career.
@ TheRealZarthArn – I also did this in high school. The teacher loved it as long as he got first pick of flavors. We even had a bubble blowing contest. Some teachers are just cool that way.

She has to honor her first cliche – or not use it in the first place.

Teacher didn’t uphold her end of the implicit bargain. Never trust a teacher again, Nerwin: at least, that seems to be today’s lesson….

Nerwin should’ve waited until she said it.

When I was in school, another kid actually did this. The teacher had a sense of humor and let him pass out gum to everyone.
