I thought we were the only ones who did that. Hubby used to hang an old rag over the lip of the cat food bin so the mice could climb back out.

OK, releasing an animal is a good thing, but releasing a vermin back into the wild?

Broomie might regret this when she finds a nest in her clean underwear drawer..

It is a pleasure to rescue animals.

So few animals have good manners these days! (Includes bipeds.)
