Ah, the ’56 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible … always could depend on ’em to deliver the reliability we really wanted. LOL!

I didn’t need a non-starting car, COVID pretty much took care of that. All meeting cancelled, it has been great. All those nagging little jobs are now getting done or trashed.

At your age, aren’t you already exempt from jury duty?

Lived in a house for ten years, no jury duty. Moved and two months later get a notice from the old county. Weird how they mailed a summons to a city three counties away, but all I had to do is send an email saying I moved.

Bills aren’t going anywhere. Dentist will charge you for a missed appointment,Missing Jury Duty will get you arrested.

Once, my son had a dentist appointment but woke up sick. I called to cancel, and they said I would have to pay a $50 missed appointment fee. A while later, he was feeling better, so I called and told them he would be in. They said they have filled his appointment. Isaid “I guess I won’t have to pay the fee, then.” She said I still did and I said “No I don’t, because I said we’d be in, and you told us not to come.”
